We have had a couple of beautiful snowy days this week – it’s truly beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

The store is decorated for the season and stocked with books for all ages.

We also have a good selection of lovely jigsaw puzzles or all sorts and sizes.

2019 wall calendars and date books are selling quickly, along with the 2019 Friendship Book, always a Christmas favourite.

We are here to help you find just the right book for everyone on your list. And, there is still time for making special orders in time for Christmas gift giving. Bring in your list, or simply give us a call, and we will do our very best to get the books you want.

BOUND BOOK ARTS FAIR - SUNDAY 9 DECEMBER 2018

Alan Stein will be at the Bound Book Arts Fair this coming Sunday, December 9th, with his hand printed wood engravings and broadsides.

He will also be showing, for the first time, a complete set of sheets from his upcoming new book On Spirit Lake – Georgian Bay Stories. Please take this opportunity to stop by and see the work of twelve Canadian authors who have an intimate connection to Georgian Bay. A prospectus will be sent out in the New Year but you may make an expression of interest at this time

Suddenly, somehow, it is only a month until Christmas!

We are fully stocked with Christmas books for children, Advent calendars, 2019 wall calendars and date books, the 2019 Friendship Book, Christmas cards and more!

We are here to help you choose just the right books for everyone on your list. And, there is still plenty of time to place special orders if we do not have the books you want in stock.

This weekend is the  Parry Sound Girlfriends’ Weekend, with extended shopping hours. We are open until 9 pm tonight and offering tax free shopping on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

We are also a partner with the Trestle Brewing Company for the Hop On – Hop Off – Women’s Event this evening. Those who hold a passport for this event will enjoy refreshments at each of the locations on their passport.  Shoppers who do not have a passport are welcome to sample the food and beverage in each store, with a $2.00 donation requested on behalf of Harvest Share.
