I have a love hate relationship with technology. I'm grateful when it works and more than frustrated when it does not. I have been trying to send you an email with my Summer 2014 Newsletter and I don't think it has worked - so please look at our website to see all of the great books I'd like to recommend to you this summer - and other summer news. One of these days the website email thing-a-ma-jig might get it together and decide to email it all to you - or then again it might not!  

So, please forgive me if you are getting emails too often from Parry Sound Books – I am still trying to sort out how to make this automatic – “it” seems to sometimes have a mind of it’s own and sends - or not – sometimes (often) it seems beyond my control.

Hopefully this message goes out as it should today – Friday 27 June 2014 – mostly to let you know that we have been receiving a lot of information about new “anti spam” legislation.

We have used this website and sent email mailings for several years in some form or another –  those of you who are receiving our emails subscribed to the website at some time in the past. I do not “gather” email addresses from other sources to send my emails out to. My understanding is that it is fine to continue to send emails to you because once upon a time you chose to subscribe – if for any reason you are not happy to receive these emails please unsubscribe.

Next week I will use this space to actually share some information about BOOKS with you - have a great long weekend all !!!
